At Antioch we recognize that children are a special gift from God and that Christian parents have a huge responsibility to raise their children up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We want to come alongside of our parents and help them shape their child's character while leading them to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Our Navigators ministry is intended to do just that. Navigators is a children's discipleship ministry for students in grades k-5 that will be launching soon. It will initially roll out (Fall 2016) as a children's church that will meet during the worship hour (11am-12pm); other special events and activities will be scheduled throughout the year. The primary focus will be discipleship, utilizing Biblical lessons, puppets, dramatization, characterizations, music, and more to creatively teach children from the Scriptures about the love of God and the good news about Jesus Christ. Navigators will meet in the children's zone located in the renovated basement of the old sanctuary building. We are excited to see how the Lord will use this ministry for his glory and for the good of our children and their families.
